Mother's Day Shadow Box Gifts

Grandma always loves photos of her grandsons. I had this shadow box frame in a stash of supplies I need to use up.... Then added a bit of detail with a wire word hanger and button covered thumbtack. I wasn't sure what to do with the frame as far as painting it or covering it with paper.... once I added the layout inside of the frame I decided it looked fine in it's natural wood state. A few buttons to tie in with the tack added just the right finishing touch.

    The whole thing is really nice, but the "family" in the wire is the crowning detail. I'd love to see a tutorial on how you did that so neatly.
